Mimi Poon is the General Manager of IBM Hong Kong, leading digital transformation initiatives across Hong Kong and Macao through hybrid cloud and AI platforms.   With 30 years at IBM, she has held key leadership roles including Technology Leader for Hong Kong, Director of Banking and Finance and Global Client Director for international financial institutions, driving innovation in financial services.

As a trusted industry advisor, Mimi contributes to multiple advisory committees.  She is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Advisory Committee of the IT Innovation Lab in School Programmes under the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the ICT Services Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and the Advisory Committee of the Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) Child Development Fund (CDF). Mimi is a council member and Director of Highly-skilled Professional Development at the Hong Kong Computer Society.
